Our Meta Tag services will include the following:
- Extensive keyword research on your target keyword phrases
Cal Coast will dig through search engine data for you and find out what keyword phrases the general public typing in to find sites and services like yours. We will provide you the numbers along with our recommendations on an excel file for you to keep and use in the future!
- Website title creation
A website title is listed in the blue bar at the very top of your website browser. Currently your website has a general title, and could use some keywords instead. After our research we will create you the best title to bring in the most traffic.
- Website description creation
Your website description is the blurb of text search engines display when your website comes up in their search. A captivating description with a call to action will be created so users are most likely to click on your site in the list of related sites.
- Most valuable keyword phrases implemented into your meta tags
Putting too many phrases in your keyword section can cause your website to be turned away by the search engines. Using the keyword research we do for your website, Cal Coast will program the phrases into your meta tags that will bring you the most targeted traffic.
- Implementation on your website or emailed directly to your webmaster for implementation
In order to be the most effective, your meta tags should be placed directly below your <head> tag in the HTML code. Cal Coast will ensure this happens on your website if you give us your access codes. If you prefer to have your existing webmaster make this change we will email them the data with instructions for implementation.

and action plan strategy based on research completed
Action plan above is to be executed upon receipt of payment & signature of this agreement. Please be advised that if you do not provide Cal Coast the information to login to your website we will not be able to implement your meta tags, but we will email them to you and your webmaster for implementation. Current Major Search Trends:
Typically MSN is the quickest to index, after about 2 months. Then comes Yahoo spiders around 3-4 months, and Google spiders are typically 6-12 months at this time. You may appear briefly in Google after 1-2 months, and disappear until month 6-12. This is common and known as “Google’s Sandbox”.
