Cal Coast contracts &/or trains professionals in the following categories to better serve our clients:

Sales:

  • Sales Coordinator – manages all web consultants and is the innovator for the department.  Create new sales templates and strategies, and oversee implementation.  Meets with Finance & Customer Care departments regularly to report progress and improve flow.  Responsible for networking in the community.  In addition, Sales Coordinator must market Cal Coast products in print and online.  Coordinates at least 2 wedding expos yearly.  Also trains new Web Consultants.

  • Web Consultant – follows up on LeTip and OC Wedding Vendor design & SEO leads via phone and email.  Responsible for following sales flow procedures and reporting to Sales Coordinator weekly with updates.

Finance:

  • CFO – manages all account managers and ensures clients pay in a timely fashion.  Is the innovator of the department, and creates all new templates and strategies.  Meets with Sales Coordinator and Customer Care Director regularly to report progress and improve flow.  Also trains new Accounting Managers.

  • Accounting Manager – Reports profit/loss monthly to CCWD owners.  Also responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, balancing budget, reconciliation, filing sensitive documents.  

Customer Care:

  • Customer Care Coordinator - manages all Virtual Teams and is the innovator for the department.  Creates new customer service templates and strategies, and oversees implementation.  Meets with Finance & Sales departments regularly to report progress and improve flow.  Responsible for client's overall satisfaction for design/SEO, and making sure all deadlines are met.  Follows up with clients, and answers questions for both clients and Virtual Teams.  Also trains new Virtual Teams.

  • Virtual Manager – responsible for distributing emails and workload among virtual teams, and monitoring work quantity and quality.  Reports progress and problems to Customer Care Director.  Answers normal questions from Virtual Team members and ensures the flow of Virtual Teams is positive.  Also expedites all domain name transfers and hosting set-up, uploads monthly web position reports for clients, reviews site stats, analytics and conversion testing and maintains regular coorspondence with clients.

  • SEO Manager – (requires at least 6 months of Content Manager service)  Oversees Links & Content managers to make sure they are on task and the client is getting efficient SEO services.  Has direct contact with client via email and phone if necessary.  Answers clients questions to best of knowledge, mentored by Virtual Manager for support.  Creates to-do lists and works to complete necessary items with the rest of the team.  Reports progress and problems to Virtual Manager.  

  • Design Manager - (requires at least 6 months of Content Manager service)  Oversees Links & Content managers to make sure they are on task with new design services.  Has direct contact with client via email and phone if necessary.  Answers clients' questions and coordinates with any subcontractors or programmers. Creates collages and graphics for websites and interfaces.  Mentored by Virtual Manager for support.  Creates to-do lists and works to complete necessary items with the rest of the team.  Reports progress and problems to Virtual Manager.   • Content Manager – (requires at least 6 months of Link Manager service)  Creates unique content pages and graphics for Cal Coast clients.  Reports directly to Design or SEO manager.

  • Links Manager – responsible for expediting link exchanges.  Must understand FTP, Frontpage, and common WYSIWYG editors.  Reports directly SEO manager.

All Positions:

Your main responsibility is to support, learn, and grow with our company by using your skills and talents to keep the team organized, the clients happy, and Cal Coast on its game.

In dependant contractors have a 48 hour response time, while employees have a same day response time to any and all emails and calls received before 4pm PST. Contractors are required to have all necessary programs / skills to perform their tasks, while employees will be trained and the necessary programs will be provided. Contractors are never required to come to our office, while employees are required to be in the office at LEAST 4 hours / day unless otherwise approved by management. ***Note: Some of our employee positions transition into at home positions if desired.

You will mostly be focusing on startup to medium sized business websites, built for searchability, between 5 and 30 pages. You are required to follow our step by step manual and the clients' references (be them in print, email, or online) to achieve the look and feel of the design. One of your most important duties will be communication via call / email between management, you, and the client. You will be the FRIENDLY design point of contact for Cal Coast, and in many cases the first or lasting impression for our company. You will be expected to respond to incoming calls / emails within 48 hours.

Your other job duties include assistance with CEO design matters trained on (by Cal Coast) including but not limited to web edits, page creation, CSS, troubleshooting, graphics creation, domain & hosting updates, and more.

Messages in before 4pm on any business day need to be returned same day, even if its just to say someone will be in touch to address the message tomorrow. All emails before 4pm also need to be routed same day to the correct department.
